Sizing your Spit Roaster

The critical measurement, assuming you install the Uni-Bracket flush with the top of the bed, is the distance from the bottom of the Uni-Bracket to either the floor or baseboard. If this distance is at least 12”, you can use the 18” length Spit Roaster with the full range of vertical movement. However, if you have a low bed, you can either choose a Spit Roaster with a shorter length, or use the full length Spit Roaster and use it at the higher vertical settings.

Installing your Spit Roaster

We recommend installing your Uni-Bracket so that the top is flush with the top of your bed. This reduces any interference with sleep, and keeps the Uni-Bracket out of sight after use when the bed is made.

The Uni-Bracket must be screwed into structural studs in the wall. Be sure to investigate for the presence of wires or pipes in the wall before beginning installation.

Do NOT sit on the Spit Roaster, it is not designed to support human weight.
